Marine species rehabilitation center​

In close collaboration with the Instituto da Conservação da Natureza e das Florestas, a multidisciplinary zoological team has been dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and return of marine and aquatic animals to the natural environment.

Conservation Projects

Recognizing the meritorious work of many organizations and research institutions in the development and implementation of concrete and on-site protection measures for species and habitats, Zoomarine collaborates and supports the activity of some of them, thus contributing to the effectiveness and continuity of these projects.

Marine Megafauna Foundation

Sharks, marine mammals and sea turtles are some of the examples of marine fauna that is seriously threatened.

World Parrot Trust

Launched to combat the wild bird trade, and return parrots to the wild, an activity that affects many bird species around the world.

A project that works on environmental education and on the research, protection and management of five species of endangered sea turtles.
